KKY Attends UNGA

 KKY FLY THE GREEN, WHITE AND BLUE AT THE UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

There is something about Hon. Alhaji Dr. Yumkella that goes far beyond my imagination. Here is an extraordinary man, full of ideas; whose professional background are being sort after by the international community and well renowned organizations worldwide. In Sierra Leone, he's being sidelines by the gov't of the day. 

This year UNGA has cordially invited him to deliver keynote addresses and moderate sessions of gov't, private sector and numerous multilateral agencies. His background as under-sectary-General for Sustainable Development and twice Director General UNIDO, put him on the spot. Yet still, his expertise in the country in under utilized. I know that our delegations would be among those to be lectured at the general assembly; What a shame. 

If Pa. Kabba can end the war; bring in all  the goodies; including 17,000 strong peace keeping forces; not even talking about the amount of raw $$ pour into the country; this did not happen by magic. The late old man's influence at the UN was superb. His colleagues that he left in the system, were well placed, with decision making capabilities.  When it was time for decision making; our country was on the priority list.

Can anyone imagine if kky is giving the chance to the presidency; what kind of goodies would follow him from the international community's. These are the realities our people, particularly the political elicts, to set aside partisan politics and support kky for the benefit of our country. 

Side linning him continuously will  delay our developmental process. The international community will continue making mockery of our political stupidity. Leh wi left dis bad hart. Elect kky.
