Madam Jarieu Sillah Crowded By Women of NGC

In late August 2022, Madam Fatima Jarieu Sillah embarked on a massive nationwide tour in order to woo delegates to support her in her bid to be elected as National Women’s Leader of the NGC party. 

During her tour, one of the consistent and key message preaached by Madam Jarieu is the message of Unity and peace among women of the party and the entire NGC Party members. Navigating through the terrains of Bo, Kailahun, Makeni, Kono, Tonkolili, Pujehun, Bonthe, Moyamba, Koinadugu, Falaba, Port Loko and Kambia madam Farima Jarieu Sillah called on delegates to convincingly support her and elect her as the next National Women’s Leader of the party "as I believe I have all what it takes to be your Women’s Leader and I'm sure I will never let you down," she said.

Speaking to delegates in Bo, she expounded her reasons for running for this position, amongst which were that she wanted the women to have a powerful voice in politics , which will help shape their future. 

Madam Jarieu also spoke about her commitment to the cause of women’s empowerment, and that if elected, she will do everything in her power to help women become financially independent by making sure they engage in programs that will make them entrepreneurs of different kinds. She also urged the women to have confidence in themselves , to invest in themselves, and to believe in their own abilities, and dreams and not to settle for less.

She went further by emphasizing the NGC message of Hope Opportunity, and Transformation. And the Vision of Dr Kandeh Yumkella‘s strategic alliance of progressives. 

She also stressed upon the fact that we are all Sierra Leonean first and that there is strength in our diversity which we should cultivate. 

Urging various delegates to carry the message of the NGC party, She made mention of the fact that the NGC party is the party of hope, and also the party that represent the whole country in our membership and structures. She mentioned that the NGC is the party with the right messages and vision that will bring development and prosperity to the country, and it’s citizens. And called on all delegates to take along with them the message and mantra of the NGC party in all the four corners of the country. 

Delegates present in all of madam Jarieu Sillah's meetings in all the districts, welcomed her, commend her for stepping up and rain positive remarks on her as they promised to support her in her bid to becoming the next Women’s Leader of the NGC party. In most of the meetings, women were in jubilant mood as they welcome madam Sillah and her delegation. 

Madam Fatima Jarieu Sillah was accompanied by Mrs. Remie Musa who is vying for the position of Deputy National Women’s Leader in her tours and Mrs. Remie Musa amplified the mesaage of Mrs. Jarieu Sillah. Madam Sillah ended her tour by calling on all delegates to vote her in massively as the next Women’s Leader of the NGC party and thank all of them for taking their time out and coming from farther distances to witness her meetings and promised to be engaging them on a regular basis. Madam Sillah promisee to visit the other districts very soon in a bid to engage all delegates.
