 Jarieu Sillah Ceremoniously Declared For National Women’s Leader

At a well attended meeting with cross section of Women’s Leaders in the Western Area Region, Madam Fatima Jarieu Sillah has in its strongest terms and with a staunch voice openly declared her unwavering intention to run for the position of NATIONAL WOMEN’S LEADER POSITION IN THE NATIONAL GRAND COALITION PARTY IN THE FORTHCOMING NATIONAL DELEGATES CONFERENCE.

With so much vigor and enthusiasm, Madam Fatima Jarieu Sillah debunked all the negative aspersions people have been casting against her on social media, especially ones that have to do with her age, her coming back for the Women's Leader position, and other negative opinions people have been sharing against her. She referred to them as mere opinions and people should understand that, no amount of intimidation will make her bend to their views and back off from the race. She said "I came ready for this, I am here to stay, I am here to win and make the women of NGC proud. I am doing this for the women of not just NGC, but women of other political parties and Sierra Leone at large", Madam Sillah said. She asserted that, she has sacrificed a lot for the NGC party and is happily married with two kids whom are well taking cared of.

Madam Jarieu Sillah called on her fellow women to unflinchingly throw her support for her and remind them that, the NGC party is the only party that can redeem the people of this country, and "the NGC party needs the kind of leadership that will ensure we get victory in 2023. And I as your Women’s Leader, we will accomplish so much together, she said."

All the Women present at the meeting unanimously endorsed Madam Fatima Jarieu Sillah as the next elected Women’s Leader and promised to support her in every single step she will be taking.

The event was live streamed on Zoom by the Salon Fos Media and women from the Diaspora who were present virtually also gave their contributions and promised to support Madam Fatima Jarieu Sillah in all her campaigns.
