Journalists Without Borders Presenting Certificate Of Award To Hon. Mario For His Tremendous Work. 

The Member of Parliament from Constituency 057 Kambia District has today, Saturday 20th August 2022 interface with youths, women, men and the old as he seeks to sensitize and educate them on recent developments around the country, more specifically in Parliament. 

Being the people’s representative, and a true son of the soil, Hon. Foday Mario Kamara paid a courtesy visit to his people in Tawuya, Constituency 057, today to sensitize them on three key important areas. One is; The District Block System, Customary Land Rights Act, and the Upcoming National Registration.

Hon. Foday Mario extends his sincere apologies for not holding planned meetings due to uncontrollable circumstances such as the CORONA Virus, and happenings across the country. The Honorable took his time to explain and educate his people on what has been happening in Parliament and issues or policies such as the above stated.

He said as an elected representative of his constituent, and part of the law making body, he's strongly against any form of violence and inciting action that may cause mayhem. So advices his people to continue to abide by the laws of the land and stay off of problems. The Honorable Member strongly condemns the unfortunate ugly incident that happened on August 10th and called on his people to always be on their guard and stand against such actions. 

He called on all to participate in the upcoming elections registration process starting September 3rd to October 4th 2022. He encouraged his people to come out in numbers to register for the 2023 National Elections.

The Paramount Chief of Gbilen, PC Alhaji Alusine Alimamy Sorie the 2nd, welcome Hon. Foday Mario Kamara and express his satisfaction and happiness for having him as their own. The Paramount chief joins Hon. Mario to condem lawlessness of any form.

As a way of recognizing the good work of Hon. Foday Mario Kamara,  a group of Journalists called 'Journalists without Borders' presented a Certificate of Merit to Hon. Foday Mario Kamara for his tremendous work over the past year. The Journalists shower praises on the Honorable Member and encouraged him to continue representing his people well.

The people of Tawuya, were in jubilant mood and express their delight over the fact that, they have an MP that regularly engage them on issues of national interest. They unanimously express thanks and appreciation to Hon. Foday Mario Kamara and called on him to always have them in his heart as he has been manifesting.
