Update On Dr. Dennis Bright

 DAY 2, UPDATE ON THE DETENTION OF DR. DENNIS BRIGHT AND MADAM FEMI CLAUDIUS COLE AT CID.


After he was abruptly arrested and detained yesterday by the Police at the CID, Dr. Dennis Bright and Madam Femi Cladious Cole are again spending the night at the CID Headquarters after being denied bail. 

According to The Police yesterday, they informed Dr. Dennis Bright, NGC Chairman, that they have an audio, which they attributed to him, encouraging Okada riders to go on strike today, Monday. 

According to the Police, this is what warranted  the detention of Dr. Bright, who had attended CID following the arrest of the Unity Party Leader, Madam Femi Claudius Cole. 

The arrest and detention of the two heavyweight opposition leaders has been marred with widespread protest all over the country. 

The NGC Chairman was arrested yesterday, Sunday at around 8:35pm and detained at the CID, and is still there under detention with Madam Femi Claudius Cole, the Chairperson of Unity Party and CoPPP.

As the arrests were instigated at the behest of IG Sovula, who now appears to have gone off sick, it would appear that no one within the Sierra Leone Police is able to take action, in the absence of the sick, Inspection General. It would seem that IG Sovula has not yet shared the knowledge gained from his PhD in Strategic Leadership, from Dominion Christian University, with the Senior Leadership Team of the dysfunctional Sierra Leone Police.
