The elected Vice Chairperson of the NGC North America Region, Marie S. Jalloh has today, Thursday, 21st July 2022 confirmed her resignation as Vice Chairperson of the NGC North America Region. 

In a letter addressed to the North America Regional Chiarman, Madam Marie Jalloh stated that, "I am writing to inform you that I have accepted the challenge to compete in the National Women’s Leadership of the NGC party, which I feel is a better fit for me and the party on our path to victory in 2023." According to Madam Jalloh, she wants to focus on her bid for the National Women’s Leadership position in the party, the reason why she is resigning as Vice Chairperson of the NGC North America Region. 

Madam Jalloh expressed her gratitude to the membership of the NGC party in North America and how grateful she is to had been given the opportunity to be part of the North America team.

She ended by assuring victory for the NGC party in 2023, "2023 victory is ours, by working together, putting all our resources and commitment to the party. The doors to victory are wide open for NGC! Let's grab and run with it," she stated. Madam Jalloh also expressed hope of winning the National Women’s Leadership position in the party.
