Her name is Marie S. Jalloh.

A dedicated, committed and proud NGC stakeholder whom still to date, continue to work for the party in and outside Sierra Leone especially for its visibility.

She is a Sierra Leonean by nationality, born and raised in the east of Freetown into a prominent Muslim family.  

She spent most of her teenage life in Sierra Leone like any other girl growing up at Magazine Court, Duffcourt and Abacha Street.

She was privileged to travel to the United States of America during this period to further studies.

 

Marie S.Jalloh was known in the United States of America for Proficiency, integrity, accountability and Professionalism as she worked in different capacities before she served as a Judicial Enforcement Manager at the Virginia Department of Social Services for over 21 years.

As a Professional Social Service Expert, she was an Administrator that was responsible for client’s Negotiations, Legal issues, Welfare issues, Mediation, Facilitation, Professional Training and Mentorship for other support staffs.

She was also known for her strong passion for issues related to Women’s Rights and Education. Marie Jalloh has been a very influential Member from the early days of KKY Movement.

She contributed immensely within the NGC North America Chapter and was actively involved in the Mobilization Leading to the 2018 General and Parliamentary Elections.

Known for her Fundraising strength, Madam Jalloh with the help of others in the United States of America generated the sum of $45,000 dollars, that was given to the NGC National Office during the 2018 Election Campaigns.

Whilst she was in the United States, Madam Jalloh established an Organization back home in Sierra Leone named “RIGHT TO READ FOUNDATION in 2012”, she did this in honor of her late Father Mr Alhaji Ishmail Jalloh, with the sole aim of supporting Young girls with books, note Pads, calculators, dictionaries and many other learning equipment playing her own part in the strides to develop the country’s human capital.

Also ensuring the great improvements made in the beneficiaries’ skills in reading and writing.  Because of her philanthropical tendencies, Madam Jalloh renovated and fully equipped the West African Collegiate Secondary School with furniture’s and books.

 

Madam Jalloh is the Deputy Regional chairperson in North America, and during her tenure, she was known for her competency and productivity.

 

Upon retirement in the United State of America in 2019, Madam Jalloh returned home and established her own private business.

During her stay here in Sierra Leone, she has volunteered to work with the National Executive of the Party and ready to avail herself at all times to represent the party when invited for meetings or functions.

Marie Jalloh has demonstrated good leadership Qualities and proven to be worthy to take any leadership role.

Amongst her different contributions are;

(a) The establishment and Mobilization of Women in NGC Countrywide

(b) She has also helped in facilitating consistent financial support for the NGC hour National broadcasting program on Radio, TV and on Facebook

(c) She fundraises $3,500 dollars for the renovation of the NGC Kambia Office after the 2018 general election

(d) she establishes the NGC Micro finance scheme to support NGC women country wide.

ATTRIRIBUTES

(A) She is popularly known for her good track record in developing projects to completion

(B) she is disciplined

(C) A good communicator with the correct temperament and character to adopt NGC Women country wide

(D) she is magnanimous in character and has a very good personality to Represent NGC Nationally and internationally.

(E) Madam Jalloh can be able to compete with other National women’s Leader in any other Political Party

 

ATTAINMENT

she is a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from George Mason University in the United States of America

 

In closing, if the bulk of delegates vote her as the National Women’s Leader of the party it will be a plus as she is all set to lift the profile and banner of the National Grand Coalition Party Nationally and Internationally.

Her ability to raise fund for the party will come in handy and therefore women’s empowerment will be assured countrywide.
