Who is Haja Fatmata Jawara ?



Haja Fatmata Jawara is a native born of Kono District, Eastern Region and has a root that traced back to the famous Kabala town. To this very moment, Haja has spent all of her lifetime in Kono District and Kabala town. Haja Fatmata Jawara (HFJ) is a renowned business woman in Kono District and widely known in other districts as well. Through her trading expertise, she has been able to build a lot of networks with women around the country. She was once a member (Patron card holder) in the SLPP and later joined the KKY Movement where she had to undergo series of intimidation, violence and life threatening remarks because of her beliive in KKY. The KKY Movement then ultimately transformed to the NGC Party, and the struggle continues.


In the NGC, Haja Fatmata Jawara was, and still is one of the reliable female foot soldiers of the party in Kono District. During the 2018 elections, HFJ was all over Kono District and other places spreading and trumpeting the message of the NGC party to her female colleagues. After the General elections in 2018, and the formation of the Tarmemko Group, Haja Fatmata Jawara has been the focal person of the operations of the Tarmemko in the Eastern Region for and on behalf of the NATIONAL GRAND COALITION PARTY.


The Tarmemko is an affiliate group that has been pushing the ideals and aspirations of the NGC party through community projects to people all over the country. Haja Fatmata Jawara has been working with the Tarmemko group with the sole purpose of disseminating the views of the NGC party. Her efforts, passion, commitment and zest to pass on the message of the NGC party through Tarmemko has yielded and she has been able to register over 3,850 new members to the NGC Party. This is massive and she has been able to do that together with her team and her great sense of personality. 


Haja Fatmata Jawara has the passion to do more for the NGC party, that is the very reason she has decided to openly and resoundingly call for the support of each and every member of the NGC party as she sets to take up the position of the DEPUTY NATIONAL WOMEN’S LEADER OF THE NGC PARTY. She believes she can do even more better when she is given such opportunity to serve our great party. 


Haja Fatmata Jawara Posses the following qualities among many.
